Syrian parl't speaker announces receiving four new applications to run for President

DAMASCUS, April 26 (MENA) - Syrian People’s Assembly Speaker Hammoudeh Sabbagh announced that the People’s Assembly received on Monday four notices from the Supreme Constitutional Court that Mohammad Bashar Fayez Yasin al-Sabbagh, Mohammad Haider al-Shoujaa, Mohammad Ghassan Ahmad al-Jazaeri and Walid Nazem al-Attar submitted four applications to run for president as the total number of the submitted applications has reached 24 till now, SANA news agency reported.

On April 18th, Speaker of the People’s Assembly announced the commencement of candidacy for Presidential elections as of Monday April 19th till April 28th.
