Egypt organizes 19th International Conference for Aviation and Astronomy

CAIRO – 13 April 2021: The Military Technical School organized on April 6-8 the 19th International Conference for Aviation and Astronomy Science and Technology via video conference, Egyptian Armed Forces Spokesperson Tamer al-Refai announced Monday.

Participants included researchers and professors from universities, research centers, and industrial establishments from Egypt, the United States, China, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They presented the most recent research studies in the field and attended lectures delivered by experts from worldwide.

The Egyptian Air Academy received ISO certifications from the IAS-Aviation Academy and the Egyptian Armed Forces organized a ceremony in January to celebrate the event.

The ceremony was attended by Air Force Commander Mohamed Abbas Helmy, Associate to Minister of Defense and Military Production Medhat al-Nahas, and a number of senior commanders of the Egyptian Armed Forces as well as military attaches of certain countries. That is in addition to former chiefs of the academy and current presidents of Egyptian universities.
