CAIRO – 9 April 2021: Tunisian President Kais Saied visited, Friday the-recently-inaugurated-National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Mosque of Amr ibn al-As and Cairo Citadel as part of his three-day visit to Cairo per president Abdel Fattah al Sisi invitation.
Egyptian Minister of Tourism Khaled Al-Anani accompanied the Tunisian president during his tour visiting several historical, archaeological sites in Egypt.
Spokesperson of Presidency Bassam Rady said that an Egyptian-Tunisian summit will be held, Saturday, at al-Ittihadia Palace, that will tackle number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral relations and joint cooperation in all fields, especially on the security, economic and investment levels.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on Friday his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Saied, in Cairo International Airport.
Saied is making an official three-day visit to Egypt that lasts until April 11. It is the first time for Saied to visit Egypt.
