CAIRO – 4 July 2017: Egypt Support Coalition, the parliament’s majority bloc, said on Tuesday it was working on some proposals to ease the burden on citizens after recent hikes in fuel prices.
The measures include a bill on comprehensive health insurance, subsidized public transport for students, developing education to help abolish the private tutoring, the bloc’s head Mohamed Zaki el Sewedy told reporters.
"We are working for the sake of citizens and we are all responsible for helping the state develop and progress," he said.
He stressed the coalition’s support for the ongoing economic reform, saying "it is the only solution to the current problems
