CAIRO – 4 July 2017: The parliament on Tuesday completed the debate of 25 articles of a 53-article draft law on regulating the gas market in Egypt, which was submitted by the government.
The bill is aimed at addressing all challenges that hinder the gas market activities in the country and drawing up plans to reform the sector.
Under the bill, a body to regulate and monitor the activities of the gas market will be formed under the name of “gas market activities regulation agency.”
