CAIRO - 3 April 2021: Egypt’s First Lady Entisar El Sisi expressed her pride of belonging to Egypt’s civilization, saying that the event of transferring the 22 royal mummies from the Egyptian Museum to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) shows the greatness of ancient Egyptian civilization
 
“Today, Egypt celebrates an exceptional and unprecedented event, which is the transfer of royal mummies to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Al-Fustat in a scene that shows the greatness of this ancient civilization that presented and will provide a unique and diverse legacy to the humanity,” said the Egyptian First Lady on her official Facebook Account.
 
“I feel proud to be part of that great civilization [and I am proud of] the tremendous work and effort that the Egyptians have exerted to dazzle the world with this special occasion,” she added.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi called upon all Egyptians and the whole world to watch the extraordinary and unrepeatable event of the royal mummies parade, which kicked off at 6:00 PM (Cairo time) and will last to 8:00 PM on Saturday.
 
“I invite all Egyptians and the whole world to follow this unique event, inspired by the spirit of the great ancestors, who preserved the nation and created a civilization of which all humans are proud… Let’s continue our path that we have started…The path of construction and humanity,” he said on his Twitter account.
 
“With pride, I look forward to receiving Egypt’s kings and queens after their journey from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC). This majestic scene proves the greatness of this nation and its guardian of a unique civilization all over history,” he added.
 
President Sisi will inaugurate the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where he will receive the royal convoy to their final resting place.
 
Egypt is organizing an event of its kind in the world, to transfer 22 royal mummies in a majestic world parade from the place of its current display in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the place of its permanent display in the NMEC in Fustat.
 
The parade is being held amid highly intensified security measures as Dr. Khaled El Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and Major General Khaled Abdel A'al, Governor of Cairo, previously met with representatives of the ministries of defense, interior and security officials, the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and officials of the company doing the transfer of mummies.
 
The Pharoahs’ Golden Parade will be accompanied on the same day by the opening of the central hall and the Royal Mummies Hall of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
