The Only Egyptian and Arab to Qualify for Space Travel

Competing with 107 contestants from 60 countries around the world, Omar Samra was able to win a ticket in the last stage of AXE Apollo Space Competition, making him the first Egyptian/Arab to visit space on a flight with the international space agency, Space Expedition Corporation. “I’m very excited with this new achievement, and I look forward to represent my country Egypt, to which I humbly dedicate this achievement, in the space trip soon” Said Omar Samra in a press release.
“I believe my mountaineering and adventure travels have given me the ability and the perseverance to successfully cope with all the mental and physical challenges associated with the final stage of space travel drills” Samra added.
Over one million people from around the world applied at the AXE Apollo Space Academy for a chance to join Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon, to travel to space with the international space agency, Space Expedition Corporation.
