It will stretch between Giza's 6th of October City and Giza's Abou Simbel on a distance of 1,400 kilometers.
The Ministry of Transport will soon hand over 40 kilometers of the High-Speed Electric Train railways to Siemens.
The minister further noted that the train will reach Abou Simbel.
Upon an invitation of Qatari counterpart Jassim Bin Saif al-Sulaiti, Minister of Transport Kamel al-Wazir held a visit to the Gulf state Sunday to hold talks on potential cooperation in the sector.
In that context, the ministry revealed that the technical works contracts of the second and third lines will be signed with Siemens soon.
The train is one of four LRT trains within a high-speed electric train project having a total of 22 trains.
There are four of them.
Egypt has set a number of green projects to accomplish within its Vision 2030.
The lengths of the first and second phases are 460 kilometers and 200 kilometers, respectively.
