They were received by Director General of the Giza Pyramids Antiquities Area Ashraf Mohieldin, and took them on a tour inside the archaeological area.

These visits came on the sidelines of their current visit to Egypt to attend the second Ministerial Conference for the Environment of the Mediterranean region.
On February 20, the Great Pyramids of Giza received the President of the International Federation of Bodybuilding. He was accompanied by Director of the Pyramid Antiquities Area Ashraf Mohieldin.
Archaeological researcher Ahmed Amer said that the kings of the New Kingdom in ancient Egypt made them statues in the form of a Sphinx and placed them in front of their temples to guard them.
