Egypt has 230 companies operating in that sector with LE 4 billion in investments, employing 22,000 engineers and workers.
Under the new law, the industrial licenses will be given in less than a week, but the risky industries will get permits in less than 30 days.
Around 1,300 projects obtained final approvals to be established inside and outside industrial zones with total investments of LE 23 billion in the first half of 2017.
