Gender gap
Egypt has advanced 48 ranks in the indicators of political empowerment of women in a global report on gender gap, according to Cabinet’s media center.
Egypt’s International Cooperation Minister Rania Mashat assured, on Monday, that women's empowerment is a key factor in the implementation of the national development plan that Egypt seeks to carry out.”
Egypt’s ranking was part of a UNDP report marking the International Day of the Girl Child, which falls on October 11.
