Kings Of The Sun Exhibition
The number of visitors exceeded half a million during the exhibition period.
This is the second time that the duration of the "Kings of the Sun" exhibition has been extended at the request of the Czech side.
Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Mostafa Waziry signed an agreement to extend the exhibition "Kings of the Sun", which is currently held at the National Museum in the Czech capital Prague, to June 30, 2021.
Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el-Anani reviewed the numerous archaeological discoveries that were made in Egypt during the last period, as well as the many museums and archaeological projects that have been opened to the public.
Khaled el-Anani started the meeting by talking about the existing cooperation between Egypt and the Czech Republic in all fields, especially the fields of tourism and archaeological excavation.
Its opening coincides with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the archaeological work of the Czech mission in Egypt.
The decision asserted that these artifacts would be under the direct supervision and full control of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
