Amer made the remarks in a tweet as she and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended a ceremony to celebrate the Egyptian Women Day, honoring a number of women who optimally benefited from empowerment programs and made a change in their local communities as well as influential female professionals and public figures.
Amer said she discussed with First Lady Kim Jung-sook the Egyptian state’s efforts in economic and social development and the great role played by the youth in this regard.
“We were in need to a frank and direct dialogue about the future of the world after the pandemic and the dangers of climate change,” the first lady said in Facebook.
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi said, Thursday that World Youth Forum [WYF] has become an ‘important intentional dialogue platform’ for youth from all over the world.
“I feel a mixture of happiness and pride due to the return of the world youth to meet and exchange visions and experiences during the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum,” Amer said in a Facebook post.

In a Facebook post, Amer said a “venerable and virtuous left our world today,” saying that she witnessed “the most difficult and harshest moments.”
“Today, we remember together the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory, a patriotic battle that reflects Egypt’s precious value in the consciousness of its people,” Amer said in a Facebook post.
“Let us be the helping hand that draws a smile on their lips and ensure them a safe and a bright future,” Amer added.

Recalling the day he proposed to her, Amer said Sisi visited her grandmother, who is his aunt, while he was still a student at the military academy and she was a student at the High School.
