Palm Trees
The activities of the sixth session of the International Dates Festival kicks off Saturday in Aswan city, and to last from 8 to 10 October.
Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, stated that the festival comes under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to maximize the added value of more than 2.1 million palm trees.
The company aims to realize President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi’s vision to plant 100 million palm trees.
Palm trees have been the best friend of Egyptians since the dawn of time; on the banks of the Nile, desert oases in Sinai and along the sea shores.
The Urbanization Authority executed 18 projects in several governorates in the current fiscal year 2016/2017.
The area Moses Pool will be transformed into an international therapeutic resort per a cooperation agreement between South Sinai governorate and Hungary.
