Egypt will send urgent medical aid to Iraq within three days, to back the latter’s efforts to face the novel coronavirus, Egyptian Minister of Health Hala Zayed said on Sunday, as Iraq has seen a drastic surge in coronavirus cases over the last period.
Egypt has established a drive-through coronavirus testing clinic and started testing car drivers, as part of the state’s plan to restore normal daily activities amid the COVID-19 crisis.
Zayed said the number of critical coronavirus cases has decreased and the rate of death with the novel virus has been stable. She added that the number of recoveries has also increased.

Health Minister Hala Zayed on Thursday reviewed her ministry's efforts to counter the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.
