The Saudi Shura Council approved, on Monday, a draft agreement between the Kingdom and Egypt regarding the investment of the Saudi Public Investment Fund in Egypt, said Saudi Embassy in Cairo in a statement.
The signing of this agreement comes as a culmination of the meetings held between the two brotherly countries to expedite the completion of procedures related to investment in Egypt through the Saudi Public Investment Fund.
Madbouli stated that the agreement on investment by the Saudi Public Investment Fund in the Arab Republic of Egypt regulates the fund's investment procedures in the state, within the framework of the two countries' desire to strengthen economic ties and ties between them.
The Cabinet approved on Wednesday an agreement with the Saudi government allowing the Saudi Public Investment Fund to invest in Egypt.
It also expedites the completion of procedures related to investment in the Arab Republic of Egypt through the Public Investment Fund.
