Children Rights
The National Human Rights Strategy singled out a focus on children’s rights, reviewing the most prominent challenges facing the promotion of children’s rights, foremost of which was the need to raise awareness of children’s rights, fight violence against children, as well as the phenomenon of homeless children.
Moushira Khatab was ranked third among five leading female human rights activists in the Middle East and North Africa region by Your Middle East website in 2013.
2.7 million children are involved in child labor, of which thousands have been rescued.
