The Ministry of Health has called on citizens to register for the booster of Covid-19 vaccine after it received more than 2 million Pfizer doses last week.
Dr. Hossam Hosni said in press statements, that the benefit of the vaccine is that it prevents complications during infection, and also reduce the symptoms to be mild and moderate, which is easy to treat and recover from quickly.
The Ministry of Health calls on the Egyptian people to receive the booster shot of the Covid-19 vaccine once they receive an SMS invitation six to eight months after their last dose.
Life will go back to normal after vaccinating 70 percent of the Egyptian population; 40 percent have been jabbed thus far, according to the Ministry of Health.
More than 672,000 citizens have been vaccinated with the third booster dose of the Corona vaccine, announced the Egyptian Ministry of Health.
