CAIRO – 12 August 2020: After a hiatus for several years, Air Moldova resumed flights to Hurghada International Airport, with the first flight set to arrive on Thursday.

This comes as the Red Sea city of Hurghada is seeing an increase in rates of tourists visiting it.

Ehab Shoukry, the head of one of the major tourism companies in Hurghada, said that great contracts were signed with Air Moldova.

"The first flight from Moldova will carry 180 passengers as a first stage," said Shourky, adding that a weekly flight will be operated as of Thursday and until November.

This comes within the framework of the tourism development, and the efforts to open new markets to support tourism flow in Red Sea governorate.
