CAIRO-20 March 2021: Zamalek and Al Ahly managed to secure victories in the 10th week of the Egyptian volleyball league.

Zamalek maintained the winning momentum and secured a precious 3-0 victory over Tala’ea El Gaish.  

The two teams put strong performance in the first two sets but Zamalek players had the final say and won the first two sets 27-25 and 25-23.

Zamalek dominated the third set and won it with a 25-15 score to achieve an important victory, which kept the White Knights atop of the league table.

In Ismailia, Al Ahly faced Qanah SC at Suez Canal Authority hall with their eyes on the two points to keep chasing Zamalek.

The Red Devils had the upper hand in the game and won the game in three straight sets (25-11, 25-11 and 25-13).

On the other hand, Al Ittihad of Alexandria won the derby of the city after defeating Smouha SC 3-2.

Al Ittihad came from behind twice to win the game in the fifth set.

Zamalek are leading the league table with 29 points, four points ahead of Al Ahly, who still have a game to play against Tersana.

Al Ahly and Zamalek will meet on Monday at Arab Contractors hall.
