CAIRO-11 February 2021: Egypt Olympic team head coach Shawki Gharib believes that Mostafa Mohamed will establish himself as one of the prolific goal scorers in European football in the future.

Gharib’s comments came after Mostafa scored his third goal for Galatasaray in his third match with the Turkish superpower.

“Mostafa knows what he wants in his career. He always wanted to play in Europe and he is now playing for a big club in Turkey under the leadership of one of the most experienced coaches in Europe, Fatih Terim.” Gharib said on Wednesday.

Mostafa joined Galatsaray on one-and-half season loan from Zamalek and he managed to score in his first match in the league before scoring the winning goal in Istanbul Derby against Fenerbahçe.

Gharib added “He is a prolific goal scorer and he will keep improving in the Turkish League. I expect him to join one of the top leagues in Europe soon. He reminds me of Mohamed Salah when he started his career with Basel in Switzerland.”

Mostafa is expected to lead the Olympic team’s attacking line in the Olympic Games in Tokyo next summer.
