CAIRO-22 January 2021: Egypt handball national team faces Belarus on Friday night in the second round of the main round group IV matches in the 2021 World Men's Handball Championship. 
 
The Pharaohs had a strong start to the main round with a victory over the Russian Handball Federation and they aim to keep this winning streak going to secure a place in the quarter-finals. 
 
On the other hand, Belarus started the main round with the group leaders Sweden and they hope to achieve a surprising victory over the hosts to keep their hopes alive. 
 
Egypt's victory will make the hosts very close from securing one of the group's two tickets to the quarter-finals. 
 
Belarus are fifth in the group with two points while Egypt and Slovenia are second with four points, one point behind the leaders Sweden. 
 
Egypt hosts the competition between 13 and 31 January 2021, with the participation of 32 teams for the first time in the competition's history.
