Al Ahly face Wadi Degla in the league

CAIRO-1 January 2020: Al Ahly host Wadi Degla on Friday night at Al Ahly stadium in the fifth week of the Egyptian Premier League.

The Red Devils are looking to keep their winning streak alive as they secured 9 points from their first three matches in the league this season.

The defending champions enter the game without many key players as the team was hit by COVID-19.

Al Ahly will miss Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Ramy Rabia, Amr El Soliya, Marwan Mohsen, Akram Tawfik, Mahmoud Kahraba and Mohamed Hany.

These absences gave the chance to many Al Ahly youngsters to earn a place in the team’s squad.

Al Ahly manager, Pitso Mosimane, announced the team’s squad for the match, which consisted of: Mohamed El Shenawy, Aly Lotfy, Mostafa Shobeir, Badr Benoun, Ali Maaloul, Ayman Ashraf, Yasser Ibrahim, Saad Samir, Mahmoud Wahied, Mohamed Shoukry, Aliou Dieng, Hamdy Fathy, Walid Soliman, Araby Badr, Zeyad Tarek, Abdelrahman Mano, Hussein El Shahat, Araby Badr, Ahmed Nabil Koka, Mohamed Sherif, Salah Mohsen and Ahmed Yasser Ryan.

The game starts on 7:30 pm.
