CAIRO – 1 July 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi opens U19 Basketball World Cup in Cairo Staduim indoor hall 1 on Saturday.

Cairo hosts the competition from the first to the ninth July for the first time in the competition history.

Egyptian fans put their hopes on the experienced Spanish coach, Juan Orenga, to achieve a good result in the World Cup.

Egypt plays Puerto Rico in their first match in Group B, Egyptian fans hope to start the competition with a win.

Egypt plays in group B alongside Puerto Rico, Germany and Lithuania.
Six matches played this Saturday but Egypt’s first match will be the official opening of the competition.
