Koeman believes that Barcelona can win LaLiga

CAIRO-14 December 2020: Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman stated on Sunday night that his team can win the Spanish League this season despite the frustrating start.

Lionel Messi scored his team’s winning goal over Levante after 75 minutes to save Barcelona from another negative result.

“Of course we can win the title. If we improve and we have more confidence and we improve our effectiveness [in front of goal], there's a chance! There are still lots of games left remaining.” Koeman said after the match.

Barcelona fans are not happy with the team’s situation in the league this season as they are 8th in the table, 9 points behind the league leaders.

Koeman commented on Messi’s performance in the league this season, as the team captain scored only five goals in the league, including two goals from the penalty spot.

“You have to realise they don't make it easy for him, he's marked by lots [of players]. But he's shown he's decisive." Koeman said.

Barcelona fans are eagerly waiting for the UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw, which will take place on Monday in Switzerland.
