CAIRO-28 November 2020: Al Ahly winger Mohamed Magdy Afsha scored a late goal on Friday night to secure Al Ahly's victory over Zamalek in the CAF Champions League final.

"I would like to congratulate Al Ahly fans. It was a tough game against a tough opponent. This goal is a gift from God." Afsha said after the match.

Afsha received the ball, controlled it under pressure from Zamalek defence and volleyed it in the back of the net to score the winning goal for the Red Devils in the match.

Afsha's goal secured Al Ahly's 9th title in the competition to extend their record as the team with most CAF Champions League titles.

Al Ahly opened the score after just five minutes thanks to a header from midfielder Amr El Soulia who received a wonderful cross from Ali Maaloul.

Zamalek captain Shikabala equalized the score for the white Knights after 30 minutes as he dribbled three defenders from Al Ahly and shot the ball into the top corner of the goal.

Afsha scored the winning goal for Al Ahly only five minutes before the final whistle to declare Al Ahly Champions of Africa.
