CAIRO-12 November 2020: Al Ahly announced on Wednesday night that they have signed Raja Casablanca Moroccan defender Badr Benoun for the next four years.

The player signed his contract with the club and the Egyptian Football Association received the player’s international card.

"It is a great honor for me to be Al Ahly player, and I am keen to do all my best and win more titles with the club in the future to please our beloved fans." Benoun said.

Benoun shined this season with Raja and he led them to win the Moroccan League title and took them to the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League competition, before being knocked out from Zamalk after losing 4-1 on aggregate.

The Moroccan added "Playing for Al Ahly is a big development in my career, as I rejected several offers from African and Gulf clubs just to be here."

Al Ahly will face Zamalek on 27 November in the CAF Champions League final at Cairo international stadium.
