CAIRO-20 October 2020: Pyramids face Guinea's Horoya on Tuesday night in the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals.

The new superpower in Egyptian football targets securing a spot in a continental final for the first time in the club's history.

The Egyptian team counts on the experienced International players within the team, including Abdullah El Said, Omar Gaber and John Antwi.

The winner will face RSB Berkane, who defeated Hassania Agadir on Monday night to reach the competition's final for the second consecutive year.

Pyramids have had an amazing run towards the competition's semi-finals in their first participation in the competition.

In the Preliminary round, Pyramids defeated Etoile du Congo 5-1 on aggregate to reach the first round where they defeated CR Belouizdad 2_1 on aggregate.

In the second round, Pyramids defeated Young Africans 5-1 on aggregate to reach the group stage. Pyramids were drawn alongside Al Masry, Enugu Rangers from Nigeria and Mauritania's FC Nouadhibou.

Pyramids won five games out of six to reach the quarter-finals as group leaders and they faced Zambian giants Zanaco but the Egyptian side achieved a 3_1 win to reach the semi-finals.

The game starts on 9:00 pm.
