Kahraba could return for Al Ahly against Wydad

CAIRO-19 October 2020: Al Ahly director of football Sayed Abdelhafiz stated on Monday that the team’s winger Mahmoud Kahraba is close to return to the team ahead of CAF Champions League semi-final second leg on Friday.

“Kahraba will be included in our squad against Wydad AC if he succeeded to fully recover from the hamstring injury before the game”.  Abdelhafiz said.

The player missed the first leg as he injured his adductor muscle in the league game against Pyramids.

Kahraba will be a great addition to Pitso Mosimane’s squad, who are fighting for securing a spot in the competition’s final.

On Saturday night, Al Ahly defeated Wydad Casablanca 2-0 in the CAF Champions League semi-final first leg at Mohamed V stadium in Casablanca.

The Red Devils put one foot in the competition final and they aim to secure their progress in the competition when they host Wydad on Friday night at Cairo International stadium.

Cairo International stadium hosts the second leg on Friday night.
