CAIRO-17 October 2020: Wydad Casablanca host Al Ahly on Saturday night at Mohamed V stadium in the CAF Champions League semi-finals first leg.

The two teams enter the game with big ambitions as they both hold their fans’ dreams of reaching the competition’s final and winning the prestigious title.

We are talking here about two of the biggest clubs in the continent as Al Ahly has a record 8 Champions League titles while Wydad won the title twice.

Wydad’s last success in the competition came in 2017 after defeating the Red Devils in the final.

“I know Wydad well, they are a strong team, and we respect them, and they also know Al Ahly very well. But we are here to have a positive result, and why not come back home with a win.” Al Ahly manager Pitso Mosimane said before the game.

The second leg will be played on Friday night at Cairo stadium.

The winner between Al Ahly and Wydad will face the winner between Zamalek and Raja.
