CAIRO-15 October 2020: After a tough week in the domestic competitions, Pyramids focus shifts to the continental level as the club prepares for the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals.

Pyramids are due to lose the battle for the second place, which secures qualification to the CAF Champions League next season after a goalless draw with league champions, Al Ahly.

The draw gave Zamalek the chance to lead the race with one point ahead of Pyramids ahead of the last round of the league.

On the other hand, Pyramids were knocked out of the Egyptian Cup quarter-finals after losing to El Geish on penalties.

Pyamids aim to bounce back in the continental level as they seek for winning the CAF Confederation Cup, which will be the club’s first title in the history.

Pyramids manager, Ante Čačić, will count on 25 players in his mission in Morocco where the semi-finals and the competition’s final set to be played.

The Egyptian team will face Guinea’s Horoya Conakry on 20 October and the winner will face the winner between RS Berkane and Hassania Agadir.
