PORTO ALEGRE (Reuters) - A stoppage time goal from Ferreira won a point for Gremio at home to Palmeiras on Sunday and prevented the Sao Paulo club from moving into third spot in Brazil’s Serie A table.

Raphael Veiga scored with 19 minutes remaining to give Palmeiras the lead but Ferreira’s late header left honours even. Palmeiras have now gone 17 matches unbeaten.

Palmeiras, who are still the only undefeated team in the league after 10 rounds of matches, are now in fourth place, three points behind leaders Atletico Mineiro.

Gremio, who have won only once in their last seven games, are five points behind in 11th place.
