CAIRO-20 September 2020: Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp announced the team starting line-up that will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The two teams had a strong start this season as the Reds achieved a narrow 4-3 victory over newly-promoted Leeds United while Chelsea returned from Brighton with a 3-1 victory.

Klopp’s starting line-up for the game consists of: Alisson, Arnold, Van Dijk, Fabinho, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Keita, Mane, Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

Chelsea’s starting line-up for the game consists of: Arrizabalaga, James, Christensen, Zouma, Alonso, Jorginho, Kovacic, Kante, Mount, Havertz and Werner.

Liverpool’s German manager Jurgen Klopp suffered last season to get the six points from the two clashes against Frank Lampard.

The first game in London ended with a 2-1 win for the Reds while the second game in Liverpool ended with a 5-3 victory for the home team, who lifted the league trophy after the game for the first time in 30 years.

Chelsea hurt Liverpool last season as the Blues defeated the Reds 2-0 to knock them out of the FA Cup competition.

Chelsea were the most active team in Europe in this summer transfer window, having signed six top class players, spending more than £200 million to be able to fight for the title.
