CAIRO-18 September 2020: Argentinean manager, Mauricio Pochettino, revealed that he dreams of coaching Real Madrid, describing the club as one of the best in the world.

“I don't know if I'll ever coach Madrid, but of course it's my dream, if it's not the best it's one of the best clubs in the world. I'm no different; everyone has it on their dream list." The Argentinean said.

Pochettino has been out of the game since he was sacked by Tottenham Hotsupr last season for poor results after being in charge for more than five years.

The manager has been linked with top clubs in Europe, including Barcelona, the arch-rivals of his former team, Espanyol.

The manager denied being offered Barcelona job, saying “They didn't offer me to coach Barca, I didn't see myself with Bartomeu (Barcelona President).

He added “I did eat with [sporting director] Ramon Planes because we have a friendship for many years, since 2009 when he signed for Espanyol."

Barcelona decided to appoint former club defender Ronald Koeman as their new manager after the dismissal of Quique Setien following Barcelona’s humiliating 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.
