CAIRO- 13 September 2020: Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman wants Liverpool Egyptian star Mohamed Salah in the Catalan club, according to former Dutch international and close friend to Koeman, Sjaak Swart.

Stewart told Dutch press that the new Barcelona manager made Salah his top transfer target, adding that the Egyptian winger also wants to join Barcelona.

Barcelona are having a tough time after they finished the last season trophy-less and the board sacked the Sporting director Eric Abidal and the team manager Quique Setién following Barcelona's humiliating exit against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.

On the other hand, Salah is having a great spell since he joined Liverpool and emerged as one of the biggest attacking players in the world.

The Egyptian winger led Liverpool to win the UEFA Champions League title in 2019 and a year later he and his teammates won the Premier League title for the first time since 1990.

The Reds will do everything they can to keep their biggest star and stop all the Catalan moves to convince the Egyptian to leave Liverpool.
