CAIRO-10 September 2020: Barcelona French striker, Antoine Griezmann, revealed on Wednesday that he sees his future at Barceona, denying all the rumors that linked him with a move away from the Catalan club.

“I'm happy at Barcelona and I know I have the confidence of the club and of the coach.” Griezmann said.

The French striker was promised a vital role in the club by the team new manager Ronald Koeman before Lionel Messi dropped his transfer bombshell and decided to stay at the club.

Griezmann added “Last season was a tough season for everyone and now we're ready to start again."

Barcelona were humiliated in Lisbon when they were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals after losing 8-2 to Bayern Munich.
This loss led to the dismissal of Barcelona manager Quique Setien and the club's Sporting Director Eric Abidal.

Former Barcelona Dutch player, Ronald Koeman, was appointed as the new manager of Barcelona on a two-year deal and he aims to return the club to the right track.
