CAIRO-19 August 2020: Bayern Munich defeated Olympique Lyonnais 3_0 on Wednesday night in Lisbon to book their place in the UEFA Champions League final.

The five-time winners Bayern Munich will face the first-time finalists Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday night at the Estadio da Luz.

"Fortunately we took a 2-0 lead into half-time before Lewandowski finished the job late on. Now we want to win the competition." Bayern Munich's Serge Gnabry said after the game.

Gnabry scored a brace during the first half while the team's Polish striker Robert Lewandowski added the third goal in the second half to secure the Bavarian giants' victory.

The French side, who reached the semi-finals after knocking out Juventus and Manchester City respectively, could not break the German defence despite having many clear chances during the first half.

"Luck wasn't on our side. We missed chances and were up against a great side. We found out they were unbeatable." Lyon striker Karl Toko Ekambi said after the game.

Bayern Munich reached the competition's final for the first time since 2013 when they won the title in London after defeating their arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund.
