CAIRO_31 August 2020: Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola believes that Real Madrid's manager Zinedine Zidane has achieved tremendous success with the club.

"I'm really glad that things are going well for him because people like him are very good for football." Guardiola said.

The English giants host the Spanish champions at the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg on Friday 7 August.

The home team enters the game with the advantage of winning the first leg 2_1 in Madrid.

Guardiola believes that Real Madrid can bounce back from the 2_1 loss at the first leg in Madrid.

He added "They're a very strong team, in every way, and they have helped me be a better coach."

Asked about the Manchester City's fans' dreams of winning the UEFA Champions League title for the first time in the history, he said "Honestly, I tried it the first year, and the second and the third and the fourth, and in the years to come. And if my team can play in it, I'm going to try and win it, like everybody else."

The Cityzens' best achievement in the competition came in 2016 when they reached the semi-finals and were knocked out against Real Madrid.
