CAIRO_25 July 2020: Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson hailed that his Egyptian teammate for his contributions in Liverpool's stellar campaign to win the Premier League title.

"People may be critical at times but Mo has been outstanding. Just look at what he has achieved so far, he has made a huge difference since he came into the club." Liverpool captain said.

Salah has been sensational for the Reds this season as he scored 19 goals, provided 10 assists during 33 appearances at the league to help Liverpool win the long-awaited title.

Henderson added "He set the bar so high, people expect that every year but look at his performances and his goals, he is incredible."

Salah established himself as a key player for the Reds since he joined the club in 2017 summer.

Salah became the first Egyptian to win the Premier League title after only one year from clinching the UEFA Champions League title.

Liverpool captain continued "A great guy off the pitch and a great person to have around. I can't speak highly enough of him.”

Henderson lifted the long-awaited trophy on Wednesday in front of an empty Anfield except for the team staff and the players' families who were given permission to attend the spectacular ceremony.

Henderson received the trophy from the club legend Kenny Dalglish, who was the team's manager when the Reds last won the title in 1990.
