CAIRO_23 July 2020: Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold expressed his happiness after the Reds won the long-awaited Premier League trophy.

"This is the one that we all wanted as fans, as players and as a club. I'd swap every medal I've got just to have this one around my neck. The way we felt being up there on that podium is unbelievable. For the club, it's massive." Alexander-Arnold said.

Liverpool's local boy broke his last season's premier League record of 12 assists in one season as he provided his 13th assist this season during Liverpool's 5_3 win over Chelsea.

The Reds defender scored his team's second goal in the game from a spectacular free kick and set up the Reds' fourth goal to Roberto Firmino.

The defender added "Everyone has played a massive part - the young lads, the senior lads, all the staff. It's been a collective effort and it's going to be a good night to celebrate."

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson lifted the Premier League trophy in front of an empty Anfield except for the team staff and the players' families who were given permission to attend the spectacular ceremony.

Henderson received the long-awaited trophy from the club legend Kenny Dalglish, who was the team's manager when the Reds last won the title in 1990
