CAIRO_9 July 2020: Liverpool Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah scored a brace, leading Liverpool to a 3_1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Salah opened the score after 6 minutes before setting up a goal for Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.

"We were lucky a bit to score in the beginning twice, [that] made the game a little bit easier to just have the confidence from the beginning." Salah told skysports after the game.

Leandro Trossard's goal halved the deficit for the home team seconds before half time.

The Egyptian winger added" After 2-1 they had more confidence and tried to play more football."

Salah secured his team's victory at the second half as he headed in his team's third goal after a wonderful cross from Andy Robertson.

Salah continued "We trained it yesterday and two days ago - and finally Robbo gave me an assist so I’m happy for that!”

Salah took his tally to 19 Premier League goals, three goals behind Jamie Vardy, who leads the race for the golden boot.
