CAIRO_26 June 2020: Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr Ashraf Sobhy, congratulated Liverpool Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah on Thursday night on winning the Premier League title.

Dr Ashraf Sobhy expressed his happiness with the achievement accomplished by an Egyptian player at one of the biggest leagues in the world.

Salah became the first Egyptian player to win the Premier League title which is another achievement added to the Egyptian king's amazing records since he joined the English giants.

The Egyptian Minister said that Salah is a great symbol of an Egyptian young man who achieved an unprecedented success, adding that Salah is a symbol of Egyptian players abroad.

After three decades of agony on the domestic level, Liverpool finally crowned Premier League title on Thursday night.

Chelsea's 2_1 victory over the second-placed Manchester City at Stamford Bridge granted the Reds their first Premier League title.

Liverpool are leading the Premier League table with 23 points clear with seven games remaining at the competition, to win the title before their journey to Manchester to face Pep Guardiola's team.
