Messi to miss Barcelona's return to action against Mallorca

CAIRO - 4 June 2020: Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi, missed Barcelona training session after suffering from an injury during Tuesday's training session.

The Argentinan star has sustained an adductor injury and he is expected to miss the club's first game after LaLiga return against Real Mallorca.

On the other hand, Barcelona striker Luis Suarez will be ready for the game as he benefitted from the football suspension amid coronavirus pandemic to recover his injury.

The player was due to miss Barcelona season after undergoing a serious knee injury in January that forced him to miss Barcelona games till March.

LaLiga returns on Thursday 11 June with Seville Derby behind closed doors between Sevilla and Real Betis at Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

Barcelona will face Real Mallorca on Saturday 13 June away from home and the Catalan giants aim to achieve a strong restart to their campaign to defend the league title.
