CAIRO_ 22 May 2020: Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson, expressed his happiness to return to train with his teammates this week.

After three months of suspension amid coronavirus outbreak, English clubs were permitted to return to training in small groups on Tuesday, with strict precautionary measures.

"It's been great to get back and see the lads, get the balls out and be able to pass into each other and interact a little bit," Liverpool captain said.

The Reds are 25 points clear at the top of the table and they need only two wins to secure their first Premier League title in three decades.

Henderson is confident that Liverpool will be in peak condition when the Premier League resumes, saying " I think a lot of the lads will be at a decent level of fitness so when the time does come where we need to play games, I am sure we will be ready."

Premier League was halted since March due to coronavirus pandemic and the footballing authorities are still working to plans to resume the Premier League.
