Zamalek player Mohamed Onajem apologized to the fans of the White Castle as his performance wasn't as expected in his first months with Zamalek.

Onajem said on the Zamalek channel: "I apologize to the fans for my appearance at a modest level in the beginning of my career with the team."

"But after I adapted to the team, I presented a good level, especially in the presence of the fans." Onajem added.

"I spent a short time in Zamalek, but my relationship is strong with all players. All of them are my friends, and we always communicate during these days," he said.

Onajem is currently in Morocco after the interruption of football activity in the world due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

Onajem joined Zamalek at the beginning of the season, coming from Moroccan Wydad Casablanca.

The 28-year-old participated in 22 games with Zamalek this season, and he scored 3 goals and made 4 assists.
