CAIRO_30 April 2020: Former Egypt international, Moataz Eno, revealed the reason behind his decision to leave his childhood club, Zamalek, to join Al Ahly in 2007.

The midfielder's transfer was a big blow for Zamalek who lost their future star as Zamalek fans described him.

"I was young and wanted to secure my future so I asked the club multiple times to increase my wages but the club rejected my demands," Eno told Filgoal.

Eno was a key player in Zamalek since he was promoted to the first team in 2002 and he earned a great reputation for his contributions to the club.

Eno added " There was no justice in Zamalek. I was a key player in the club and the national team but the club offered better contracts for the new signings who did not play frequently."

In Al Ahly, Eno never produced the same level of performance and he found himself on the bench most of the time.
