CAIRO - 10 April 2020: Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s manager, addressed the current state and upcoming plan of the club’s football first team following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

In his interview with Sky Sports on Thursday, the Spanish manager [Arteta] talked about how he is being in connection with the whole squad.

"We cannot touch each other at the moment, but we're having group and individual talks. It's so important that we keep connected so they can see there's a relation between what we're doing now and when we restart training,” Arteta told Sky Sports.

As for his current preparations for the upcoming transfer window, Arteta revealed that he has two or three different scenarios in mind. However, there are external factors in which he can’t control.

"We have to react daily. We don't know what the financial situation is going to be, we don't know the rules, the timing, the window. There are so many things we cannot control at the moment," Arteta added to Sky Sports.

The 38-year-old manager [Arteta] led Arsenal in 15 games ever since his appointment in December 2019 managing to win in eight games, draw in five and lose in two.
