Al Ahly's board of directors decided to reduce the number of working hours in their three headquarters in Al Jazeera, Nasr City and Sheikh Zayed, to close its doors at eight in the evening.

This decision came in light of the spread of the Coronavirus and to preserve the safety of everyone inside the club, according to Mohamed Morgan, the CEO of Al-Ahly.

Also, the coaching staff of Al-Ahly led by Rene Weiler gave the first team a negative six-days break in light of the suspension of all sports competitions due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

The coaching staff of the players sent three messages, as follows:

** Adhere to preventive measures to avoid infection with the Coronavirus.
** Adherence to the diet to avoid weight gain at rest.
** Not to travel and avoid mixing.

Al-Ahly will then return to resume their regular training on a daily basis, after the end of the break. The team trained naturally on Monday morning.

Al-Ahly tops the league table with 49 points after 17 games.
