Big Names out of Al Ahly’s Squad against Smouha SC

Rene Weiler, Al Ahly’s manager, announced Al Ahly’s squad for their upcoming match against Smouha Sporting Club in the 18th fixture of the Egyptian Premier League.

Al Ahly’s squad witnessed for the first time ever this season the appearance of Al Ahly’s 19 year old midfielder El-Arabi Badr as well as the return of Mahmoud Wahid, left back.

On the other side, Junior Ajayi, winger, and Yasser Ibrahim, defender, were left out due to suspension. Moreover, Mahmoud Metwally, defender, and Ramadan Sobhi, winger, were not chosen due to their injury.

While, Sherif Ekramy, goalkeeper, Ali Maaloul, and Geraldo, winger, were left out due to technical reasons.

Al Ahly’s Squad

Goalkeeper: Mohamed El Shenawy, Ali Lotfi, Mostafa Shobeir

Defenders: Ramy Rabia, Ayman Ashraf, Ahmed Fathy, Mohamed Hany, Mahmoud Wahid.

Midfielders: Hossam Ashour, Walid Soliman, Hussein El Shehat, Amr El-Souleya, Magdy Afsha, Ahmed El Sheikh, Aliou Dieng, El-Arabi Badr.

Strikers: Marwan Mohsen, Aliou Badji.


Al Ahly, first place with 48 points, will play against Smouha, 7th place with 24 points, on Wednesday 7:30 P.M at Cairo Stadium.
