CAIRO – 27 February 2020: Aston Villa Egyptian wimger, Mahmoud Hassan known as Trezeguet, revealed on Thursday that his team will fight to win the EFL Cup final, scheduled on 1 March against Manchester City.

“We are ready for the cup final. Of course we feel confident because we reached the final after each player worked very hard.” The Egyptian winger told Aston Villa official website.

The Egyptian took his team to Wembley as he scored a late winner against Leicester City at the semi-final to set up a final with defending champions, Manchester City.

Trezeguet added “Due to this work, we are in the final. I was happy for my goal [against Leicester] but it also came thanks to my teammates who help me a lot.”

The Egyptian international joined Aston Villa last summer and he established himself as one of the key players at Dean Smith’s squad.

The Egyptian winger praised his team’s fans, saying “Fans always support us and we always fight for them to make them happy. We will do everything and we will wait for them on Sunday.”
